Skin Vitamins

An Asian study was recently conducted which stated that taking certain vitamins can lighten dark spots on the face associated with Melasma. The study had 56 women enrolled and had them take supplements of A, C, E and an antioxidant called procyanidin or a placebo. The participants taking the vitamins took them twice daily and after eight weeks saw significant lightening in their skin. Procyanidin is in apples, red wine, chocolate, pine-bark extract and grape-seed extract. Taking 48 milligrams of the procyanidin what found to be the most effective. Yeah! Good news for Melasma sufferers.
