I just bought a juicer and decided to start a 3-day juice cleanse. Jake, my husband, decided to join me for his first cleanse! It will be difficult but it’s nice to give your body a break from solid food and to regain self control.

If cleansing is not your thing but you want a boost for your skin then try the recipe below. It is delicious! Sometimes I will add an apple or some fresh cane juice for sweetness. This vegetable blend is helpful for acne, skin dehydration and irritation.

Skin Cleanse Ingredients:
1 cucumber with skin
1/2 bunch fresh parsley
1 4oz tub of alfalfa sprouts
4 sprigs fresh mint
