Amanda received her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she also served as a cardiac nurse for over five years. Amanda earned her BSN in Nursing from NYU. While studying to become nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she focused on health across the patient life span & became fascinated with the aging process. This led to her strong desire to go into the field of medical aesthetics where she could combine her love for the arts and sciences. This propelled Amanda to move to Portland to pursue her dream of becoming an aesthetic injector at Skin by Lovely. Her artistic eye helps patients achieve a natural look while enhancing their innate beauty. She enjoys the creativity behind creating individualized plans to help each patient accomplish their aesthetic goals.
Prior to my nursing career I studied art history and painting. Creating art is a true passion of mine. I feel that my artistic background has helped with a smooth transition from being a cardiac nurse to an Injection Specialist at Skin by Lovely Portland.
That’s a tough one!
I really like Restylane Defyne. It is such a versatile filler. Particularly, I love the way the product looks in lips. Another plus is the longevity of the outcomes.
Natural beauty to me means unconditional self-love and acceptance.
