1: Where are you from originally and what brought you to Portland?  

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Years ago, my husband and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest on our first vacation together. Fast forward five years later and here we are now!

2: Out of all the specializations for Nurse Practitioners, what led you to the field of aesthetics?

Initially as a patient of aesthetic treatments, I knew this was the field I wanted to be in. The impact this field can make on an individual is truly amazing! I also had a strong desire to be more creative and autonomous in my practice. Aesthetics is exactly where I belong!

3: In your opinion- what sets Skin by Lovely apart?

Skin by Lovely is truly unique. We focus all of our attention towards a small menu of treatments. This allows us to master the art of facial aesthetics- giving our patients the best natural-looking results imaginable.

4: Do you have a favorite product or area of the face to inject?

Juvederm® Voluma dermal filler in the cheeks – no doubt! It provides such a subtle enhancement with a huge impact.

5: Any secret weapon skincare products we should know about?

As a sun-lover, SPF is a non-negotiable. SkinMedica’s Total Defense and Repair is definitely something I can’t go without. When you love being outside as much as I do, wearing sunscreen daily can dramatically slow down the aging process!

6: What’s your favorite thing about your job at Skin by Lovely?

Handing a mirror to my patient after their treatment and catching that huge smile. This is everything.

7: Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m very crafty! I love to sew and knit.

8: What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

Four years ago, I moved to Hawaii within weeks notice with a boyfriend who had a great job opportunity in Maui. No regrets! Best experience ever… and he’s now my husband. So it all worked out. 👌😊

9: What do you find most inspiring?

Powerful and independent women! 💪🏻

10: What’s your favorite quote and/or personal mantra?

The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.
