It takes a lot of hard work to keep one?s skin beautiful and healthy. Eating a well-balanced diet is one of the most important things that people can do for their skin.  A well-balanced diet helps keep the body healthy.  One cannot have healthy skin without a healthy body.   Below are some foods that should be included in everyone?s diet:

Salmon

Salmon is packed with Omega 3 fatty acids, which are also known as the healthy fats. Omega 3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation, which has been linked to skin damage as well as numerous other health problems. This nutrient also helps keep the skin looking youthful.

Carrots

Carrots are rich in Vitamin A, which helps protect the skin against dryness.  It is also packed with antioxidants that protect the skin against free radical damage. Carrots are also high in fiber, thiamine and potassium.
Avocados

Avocados are an excellent source for a nutrient called Biotin. Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that helps protect against dry skin. Avocados also help the body absorb other nutrients better.

Eggs

Approximately 25 percent of the skin is made up of protein.  Eggs are very high in this nutrient. Protein helps repair damaged skin cells.

Additionally, people should also make sure that they avoid foods that are high in saturated fat and sugar. Some studies suggest that sugary and fatty foods can lead to premature aging. However, people who eat plenty of salmon, carrots, avocados and eggs can help prevent premature aging and improve the overall health of their skin.
