One of our most asked questions is the difference between PRF and dermal fillers.
PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. It’s created from a small sample of your own blood, which is then processed to concentrate the natural growth factors your body already produces. This concentrate can be used in facial treatments to support collagen production, improve skin tone and texture, and reduce signs of fatigue—especially around the eyes.
Traditional dermal fillers gels simply replace lost volume using hyaluronic acid.
EZ Gel is a regenerative treatment derived from your own blood, just like PRF, but it’s processed into a thicker, gel-like consistency. This makes it ideal for areas that need a little more structure and support, like the tear troughs or cheeks. Think of it as a natural boost to your skin’s glow and firmness, using nothing but your own biology.
Both Ariessance Pure PDGF+ and EZ Gel are popular regenerative treatments, but they’re made very differently.
Ariessance Pure PDGF+ is a lab-created serum that delivers a powerful dose of growth proteins (PDGF) to help support skin renewal, boost hydration, and improve texture. There’s no blood draw involved. It’s a great topical serum that can be applied after microneedling treatments, much like PRF.
EZ Gel, on the other hand, is made from a small sample of your own blood. It’s processed into a soft gel that’s then injected into areas like the under-eyes or cheeks. It contains your body’s own growth factors and works to naturally plump, hydrate, and support smoother skin from within.
Results with regenerative treatments are gradual and build over time because they’re using growth actors. Most patients begin with a series of 1–3 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Maintenance sessions every 6–12 months can help sustain your glow long-term.
EZ Gel PRF utilizes a combination of your albumin that we have heated then cooled to form a “gel” which contains your prf.
These two are then blended together to form your own natural filler! We can use this all over the face where you have volume loss and need skin rejuvenation.
EZ Gel is a great alternative for those who do not want regular HA fillers injected. It’s 100% autologous, biostimulating, and volumizing
