Terms of Service & Policies

Our goal is to make every experience with us clear, comfortable, and full of care. Please review the following Terms of Service and Policies before your appointment or purchase. By booking, purchasing, or receiving services from Skin by Lovely, you agree to these terms.

1. Appointment Booking & Consultations

We require a credit card to be saved on file to book your appointment.

To ensure every patient receives the care and attention they deserve, all new patients begin with a complimentary 60-minute consultation. During this visit, your provider will review your health history, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan.

For injectable services, treatment can often be performed during the same visit if time allows. Aesthetician consultations are assessment-only; if you’d like treatment that day, please also book your desired esthetic service.

If a treatment is booked without a prior consultation, we may need to reschedule to allow adequate time for your evaluation. Late arrivals may limit your ability to receive treatment that same day, but we’ll gladly help you find another time that works best for you.

2. Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Because our providers are in high demand, we kindly ask that you honor your scheduled time or provide advance notice if you need to make changes.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a $75 fee charged to the card on file.

  • Missed or no-show appointments will also incur a $150 fee.

  • Arrivals 10 minutes or more late may result in rescheduling or a shortened appointment; arrivals 15 minutes or more late are considered a no-show.

  • Monday appointments must be canceled by Saturday at 2:00 pm if calling by phone, or through your online client portal at my.skinbylovely.com on Sunday to avoid cancellation fees.

  • Frequent late cancellations or no-shows may result in patient dismissal or a $300 deposit requirement per appointment.

Appointment reminders are sent as a courtesy, but it remains the patient’s responsibility to remember their scheduled time.

2. Refund Policy

We want every lovely to feel confident and cared for. Because our services are medical in nature and require time, product, and provider expertise, all treatments rendered, prepaid treatments, and packages are non-refundable.

If you are unable to complete a prepaid package, our team will be happy to review your account and, when possible, apply the remaining value as credit toward other Skin by Lovely services or skincare products.

Retail Products: Unopened skincare products may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund to the original payment method or applied as credit toward future services or products. Opened or used products cannot be returned or exchanged due to safety and quality standards.

4. Shipping Policy

Orders placed before 5:00 pm on weekdays are typically processed within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend may take 48 to 72 hours to process. All orders are shipped via USPS. Electronic gift cards are delivered within two hours but may take up to 24 hours from the time of purchase.

5. Gift Card Policy

Gift cards are redeemable for in-office purchases at Skin by Lovely and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Gift cards are not valid for online skincare purchases made directly at www.skinbylovely.com. Other restrictions may apply.

5. Package Policy

All treatment packages must be used within 12 months of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once treatments have begun. If you relocate or are unable to complete your treatments for medical reasons, credit may be issued toward other Skin by Lovely services with documentation and management approval.

6. Shop Policies

1. Returns
If you’re not completely satisfied with your product, we gladly accept returns of unused items within 30 days. Please email orders@skinbylovely.com to coordinate your return, and we’ll process a refund to your original payment method.

2. Broken or Damaged Items
If your product was ordered online and arrives broken or damaged, please email orders@skinbylovely.com with photos of the damaged item for insurance purposes. We’ll begin processing an exchange immediately.

3. Allē Points
To redeem Allē points for SkinMedica purchases, please contact your Skin by Lovely location or shop through our Brilliant Connections microsite. You can log into your Allē account to use existing points and earn new rewards for eligible purchases.

7. Informed Patient Agreement & Consent

Skin by Lovely, Inc. and Skin by Lovely, P.C. (collectively referred to as “Skin by Lovely”) follow HIPAA privacy standards and require acknowledgment and consent for all medical treatments.

HIPAA Policy:
We respect your privacy and protect your personal health information as required by law. We share only what’s necessary to coordinate your care, process payments, and maintain healthcare operations. You may request restrictions, review records, or revoke consent in writing at any time.

Communication of Protected Health Information (PHI):
By providing consent, you authorize Skin by Lovely to communicate PHI via email, text, or voicemail. While we take reasonable precautions, these methods are not guaranteed secure. Skin by Lovely is not liable for unauthorized access to your personal devices or accounts.

You may revoke this consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

8. Respect & Dignity Policy

We are proud to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. Every patient and team member deserves to feel safe and valued. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disrespectful, abusive, or unsafe. If you ever feel you are not being treated appropriately, please ask to speak with a manager immediately.

9. Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include:

Only one Skin by Lovely promotion may be redeemed per visit, though manufacturer programs (such as Allē) may be combined when applicable.
