Skin by Lovely is seeking a driven, organized, and professional Aesthetic Medical Assistant to serve our patients and support our medical aesthetic injectors at our Lake Oswego practice. If you are a career-minded individual who loves things like skincare products and Botox, then look no further!

Through our sister company, InjectionU, and the support of other educational providers, we are also able to act as an educational center by providing comprehensive, hands-on training, for health care providers new to medical aesthetics, including newly hired Skin by Lovely Injection Specialists.

Education & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a dermatology, aesthetic, or medical clinic. 
  • Familiarity with injectables and luxury skincare. 
  • Phlebotomy skills and EMR experience strongly preferred. 
  • Medical Assistant certification/licensure a plus  

Key Responsibilities 

Patient Experience & Administrative  

  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and respond to emails/texts with professionalism. 
  • Greet patients, complete consent forms, take before photos, and support checkout/retail sales. 
  • Educate patients on skincare regimens, product recommendations, and pre/post-treatment care. 
  • Support marketing, events, and patient engagement initiatives. 
  • Maintain a polished, welcoming reception and clinic environment aligned with brand standards. 
  • Clinical Support & Medical Assistance 
  • Prepare patients for injectable or microneedling treatments, including applying numbing cream. 
  • Take and upload clinical before/after photos into the EMR. Room patients and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable. 
  • Assist providers during treatments with setup, scribing, supply preparation, and patient comfort. 
  • Prepare treatment rooms with sterile supplies and turnover between patients. 
  • Reconstitute and date neurotoxins per provider preference. 
  • Draw up injectables (neurotoxins, Kybella, PRF, Sculptra) and retrieve fillers, verifying product/lot. 
  • Perform phlebotomy and PRF preparation (centrifuge, syringe loading). 
  • Package/label any remaining product per protocol. 
  • Track and maintain clinical inventory (neurotoxin, fillers, skincare), update EMR logs, and order supplies as needed. 
  • Communicate proactively with providers/AC team via group chat when assisting in-room. 

Essential Skills 

  • Polished communication and warm, approachable demeanor. 
  • Strong organizational skills; able to balance administrative and clinical priorities. 
  • Comfort with clinical tasks: charting, vitals, phlebotomy, infection control, HIPAA compliance. 
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a patient-first focus. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, luxury medical aesthetics setting.

Pay: $26–$28 per hour
Additional Compensation: Bonus eligibility
