DAXXIFY™ is the newest neuromodulator to hit the market, and the first and only peptide-powered, FDA-approved frown line treatment.
DAXXIFY™, like BOTOX® Cosmetic, is an injectable treatment made from botulinum toxin type A, a substance which temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for causing lines and wrinkles to form. When DAXXIFY™ is injected into the face or neck, it alleviates lines and wrinkles as well as tightening sagging skin along the jawline.
Like other wrinkle relaxers, DAXXIFY™️ requires no real downtime. You may experience minor redness and swelling at the injection sites, but this should resolve within a few hours of treatment.
To minimize discomfort and to help make your treatment more comfortable, we will apply ice to the treatment areas prior to the the first injection. At most, you’ll feel a small pinch. If you are pain sensitive, we can also apply a topical numbing cream to help.
We recommended waiting at the very least, two full weeks before an event, that way the product has time to settle. Trust us, you don’t want to get treatment the day before a big event – you won’t be able to notice much of a difference yet!
